Early Game Slate Day –

As you can see by Joe Saunders wOBA vs righties, righties crush the daylights out of Saunders. The Indians struggle vs lefties as a team, but a healthyCarlos Santana in the middle of that lineup could really change their fortunes. Santana, Asdrubal, Raburn, Gomes and Aguilar can all hit lefties really well, and this 9.5 o/u indicates that Vegas is ignoring Cleveland’s struggles vs lefties, and giving them the edge on the road. Expect Indians runs today.

John Lackey has been owned by this current Tigers roster. The Tigers have a ton of speed and power. Lackey gives up a ton of stolen bases, and he will face Rajai DavisIan KinslerAustin Jackson and possibly Andrew Romine if he’s healthy, who can all steal bases well. The Tigers are hot, and own this pitcher, which means that they can hurt him with their legs and their power. The Tigers at home are a contrarian stack with huge upside on Sunday NIght Baseball.

Jeff Locke numbers are not terrible, but he is not very good vs right handed bats. The Brewers have crushed Lefties all year, and I can see them getting to Locke. They are my number 3 stack because of the low total, but with Braun, Gomez, and Lucroy all having extremely good power vs lefties, I can see the Brew Crew teeing off on Locke and making him pay for his high walk rate. Righties are hitting over .300 vs Locke in the minors, so his awful second half from last year has carried into the minors.
